Until now I saw all people speaking about military technologies.

What about economical technologies? Until now, this game is (almost) anly war game: build attack to destroy and build defense, to protect. I think it's time to increase the area of this game.

I like to have something like "business", "marketing", "natural resources", "economical research" department.

Norbe would very much like to see a time-based research laboritory added to the game as a means to gain new techs. This would be immense. Its effectiveness could be altered by a number of different factors.

1) You put a percentage of your income into R+D. The higher the percentage, the better the research.
2) You have a seperate Unit Production count which specifically trains researchers. These researchers could then be trained to specialise in certain areas, eg, defense research, offense research, covert tech research, etc. The more researchers you have in a set field, the quicker the research in that specific field.
3) You could get a daily message from your research labs simply stating "we are 3% towards developing new offensive tech, 7% towards defensive tech, and 67% towards new anti-covert tech".
4) Instead of "stealing" the technology, and it becoming instantly available, why not have it so you can send teams on missions to steal enemy research, which simply causes a jump in how near you are to completing the next tech.

Some tech enhancements can simply be upgrades to existing weapons or techs, etc. eg, shield strength has been upgraded by 10%. Whilst others are completely new technologies/abilities. Eg. drone chair.

Technnology levels could be introduced. Once you research all of the tech for level one. You have to buy a one-off tech level two enhancement. So its an upward spiral. Because it takes a long time to complete each tech level, it gives the admins enough time to complete development of the next tech tree before anyone can reach it.

I also like the idea that this can be used to introduce new plots into the game. Perhaps your researchers accidentally discover a deadly virus, which wipes out half of your worker population. Alternatively they could perfect cloning technology and give your a UP increase. Which of these you get could be random, or even dictated by events elsewhere in the game world.

Overall I think this idea has SOOO much potential. And forum I know it represents a lot of work for you, but it would make the game a much more varied and intense experience.

I love that idea! I say do it guys! The third idea would be the one to do. It would take a while to code it all though but I'm sure someone would help the admin do it.

I was expecting that the last server errors are because of some upgrade (some of the ideas posted here). But it looks like nothing changed.

i think they sound very cool
but a 10% loss each upgrade phoenix would not work well at all
you wud want them to work like spy lvls
otherwise the upgrades will just become miniscule and will not be worth it
but i like it a lot
and the story mode sounds good
but i dont think this game is ready for something like that
give it another 6 months or so until we get bored again :-D

the server downage was due to hardware...

like the chaos's tech that allows you to train more.... UU? into miners? (up to a max of 50% trained per day but each upgrade gives less than the last making it impossible to reach a full 50% trained per day...)

I always hope to some changes when I see server down! (I mean, I hope this to be the reason why is server down) :( Unfortunately until now... no changes. And past a quite long time from the last updates. Maybe it's time....

admin usually doesnt need that much time to upgrade... as all the upgrades are tested on the development server, and are easily and quickly transferred...
