Long post... get over it
hmm, lets see, most part of the last two to three weeks Titans has been well above 80% war to shadow and dob.. In all fairness i do remember a couple times the favor was returned. Shadow seems to love us more than others. I liked it actually.. No BS.
I have had quite a few massings I have done and have handed out I dont know how many war settings to DDE. A couple weeks ago it was 25 when i counted.. I havent bothered counting this week. I guess since the massings arent returned in kind I shouldnt bother. And by that i mean FULL massings of MS as well as def, spies and at least partial strike. I mean whats the point in a half ass MS mass like the one Guild did on me a few days ago still leaving over a tril power on my MS? I take the time and effort and resources to at the very least drop a MS below 1 bil in weapon power on almost every occasion. Whats the point in a half ass job when the people arent even left at a good raiding range so they can recover easily?
Lets all be honest here. Yea, People with bigger stats are worried about handing out war settings, but whats the point even bothering to mass me in any way if i am still going to have to get MY OWN PEOPLE to mass my damn MS so I can raid when DDE wont do it for me? When I mass someone I at least make sure I get them out of G&R range so they can raid and then strike back at me later. I have actually gotten a couple full MS massings on me. Thanks for those! It helped me get to raiding range.
Inactivity and PPT: Yea, we all know this time of year every alliance faces a bit of inactivity. People going back to school, coming back from vacations blah blah blah RL stuff blah. Happens to all of us. I cant really say anything about PPT, I know I take two per week personally and when that cant give me enough time off from the game when I need/want it, I set vac.. PPTs, well, they are there.. I guess none of us can REALLY complain about how people use it.. We all do from time to time. Now I really need to keep mine going.. Have to save market turns for merlins for that crappy dual i took off JT.. (thanks by the way JT, I already got it built up a little and renamed it for you
). I do tend to wait at least a couple hours after I am done massing someone before i go to PPT...
Snipers: Hey, there is no rule saying anyone has to build anything if they dont want to. Me, I see no real reason to build more than what I have because from my point of view, there hasent been but one person in dde to really give me a full and complete massing and that was Reathe. My hats off to that man. Yea people might call me a sniper.. so fracking what. My kill rate is high. I end every day with more than I started and STILL manage to zero a few defs, kill some spies and take out MSs. I have fun doing it. I get to know a few of the people I mass. Hell, I have even given advice to a few on things. No matter what people want to say about snipering, it is one of the most efficient ways of playing and keeping your kill rate high and maintaining growth. If you dont like it, well, stop screaming about it as being a bad thing and ask someone POLITELY to build something. They might just do it. Yes I have sniped most of the war. So what... I still had fun and I think the few little onliners I have done it was fun for all involved. Polite PMs were exchanged in most cases by me and the people I did them with. Hell, I have even been polite and left a few alone for a while simply because they were still trying to ascend. I even stopped farming someone while they were farming because I hate that when someone does it to me. You might complain about my current style of play, but chances are those complaining are the ones that have not been polite in PMs. Sorry, but I dont reward rudeness...

All in all, yea, I have enjoyed the war but is is getting to be a bore.. LOTS of people on both sides have RL issues of some sort going on hence all the inactivity and only a few on both sides carrying the rest. You cant fault people for having a real life outside this game... Lets try not to get back into things like they started out with people taking things too seriously.. Its a game.. have fun...

All jokes/sarcasm aside, Good to see you back JT. You always have this way of rallying the troops together when you are active. Hopefully next month everyone will be getting settled back in at work/school we will see some more activity on both sides.
