You know.. I actually had to read (and know) the rules before I was allowed to watch with the guys around here.. So I kind of knew the rule with the "A player being off the pitch but still on the playing team counts in offside situations"-deal..

And Belgium would have done great, had they had an easier time in Quals..

thing is that so called player was comotose off the pitch....how on earth could he signal to the ref he was out of play?

changed my mind....the goal shouldnt have stood.....although i dont think it would have made much difference to the end result....

I wouldnt fret to much, Italy has a habbit of starting of slowly, scraping through the group stages and then finishing strongly... Wheras Holland and Spain are the proverbial underachievers that either don`t show up at all or peak too early... But heck there is a first time for everything lol. Maybe this is indeed their tournament. But I personaly wouldn`t be slapping an orange/yellow combo ribbons on that trophie just yet lol...

He couldnt but was Holland supposed to stop th attack just because of it?

What can i say we played a great match against Italy. I doubt we will repeat the same against the france but im sure were gonna try. My money is on Holland though an d i think we will beat the french with 2-0.

France cant play anymore cause they have a bad coach,importand players injured and most are old and tired after their long seasons with their clubs.
Holland will win but u can be sure that France will score cause they do have world class strikers like Henry and Benzema and midfielders like Ribery!
And when Holland beat France and if Romania even gets another boring draw against Italy then 2 tournament favours are already out of it.

As I said already, if France plays its game like Spain did on Russia and presently Croatia on Germany (if you seen Germany vs Poland you saw Germany is SURELY NOT out of loop!!), a draw is VERY likely to happen, if not a victory...and Romania is a trap, Italy will NOT win easily, if they even win heh...it's all a matter of being in the match!
