So bad I recorded this match after Van Nistelrooy and Sneijder goaled...only recording the best ones I do. Hopefully more epic ones on dvd for me coming soon! Sadly excepted Germany vs Poland and Portugal vs Turkey, rest was BORING!

all i can say is dissapointing, for the Italians, world champions and they can't win a group stage, on the other hand, Holland played a great game, loved their moves and play throughout the game some amazing chances and well finished.

i guess the italians just went in with too much expectation and underestimation. or holland just got really good within the past year lol.

I lost my voice yelling while watching that.. we went to like this pub with 250 people, and it was one big noisy crowd.. you can imagine what it was like when the goals were made.

At first I thought Holland was going to slump in the 2nd half like they usually do, but after 2 goals in the first half, that became slightly less likely.
I really loved the first shot by Afellay, hitting the bar, so close.. a guy who was subbed in a minute before that. Amazing.

And of course, van der Sar's the single best keeper of the Western (European) World.. the saves he made today reminded me of a few games during the ManU season. Absolutely brilliant.


I'll laugh if Holland and Romania get through to the next round, and France and Italy are stuck in the group stage. Trashing the World Champions is a good step towards becoming European Champions, but it's a bit far fetched to say Holland will win.. Hope is there though.
