didnt read it fully, but agreed their should be a calculated method to show who has won the war.
ive got an idea that may be of help/use. back before i played sgw i use to play (and still do) a game **MODDED**
while you were in war, their used to be a "war meter" basicly it started like so at the start of a war:
[0%====50%====100%]
(starting at 50% for both kingdoms - for us it would be alliance's)
lets say A attacked B for x amount the meter would actually move positive for your kingdom (so now their meter would indicate 55% wining this war, whilst the other kingdoms war meter would show 45% wining the war.
the meter REALLY helped deciding who won and the such due to people always saying no we definitely won or... who is winning (basicly after 5 days)
having an actual meter that the alliance could see would be a rather interesting thing... this way alliance's in war would know where they stand as per the current war vs the other said alliance...
so this could be included too?

My question is what triggers the meter?
AT used?
units killed or taken?
damage done?
What? because we have been able to pick apart every "war meter" thats been offered to show it as "unfair" to one side or the other. Please elaborate on the war meter idea and how it works/what triggers it.

see I think the guy who you're asking about the triggers his idea is more or less what we have already but just putting a visual representation on it...
I hope admin gets chance to have a look at this... to be honest I'd be more than happy to learn PHP and try to code this up (my original post/idea thingy) to try and help bring round an end to "un-winnable wars" but you will still have peopel who are stubborn and un willing to give up but at least this way its a much fairer representation of who is losing the most (rather than just purely alliance x killed more of alliance y's stuff because they had more trained)

My point being, triggers are exploitable, and ME is totally skewed and inaccurate. Look at it now. The high ME sit with no stats and mass anything thats built for ME not for growth or profit. It doesnt count your losses against you so if you lost 10 mill men killing 2 mill it shows you as winning when in fact you are not.
without a well though out measuring system, and trigger system, this idea will be just like ME. Worthless inaccurate information.

Either way the admin needs to figure out something to bring the un-winnable wars to an end.

he has the means, just refuses to us them.
