with the presence of Guantanamo - it shows that this particular policy is in play in the U.S - when both this and the other point that avenger pointed out is put into perspective with the introduction of the Patriot Act and the Unilatilerist actions that the U.S has taken such as the war in Iraq and rendition flights which are illegal - by declaration of UN and International Law


The freedom that the US used to represent is now an diluded illusion undermined and underpinned by the above basic actions (there are always better options than curving civil liberties and showing no respect to international law while blasting others for breaking UN sanctions - a bit hipocritical dont ya think!! ).......
