Rhetorical question. What type of government do we have and how is it established?
Your question is not the least bit rhetorical, it's quite valid.
Not quite sure if you wish me to answer, but I will just in case you did, want me too, sorry for the long post.
What form of Government do we now have?
We in the west are suffering from dying democracy, the result of Republics gone a stray. Currently we're in what I term the hydra stage, which is the broken two party system (the two headed monster) Republicans & democrats USA, Labour & Conservatives UK. Dictatorships sprout from broken democracies, charming and ruthless individuals will always be waiting in the wings for an opportunity to sway the mob in to making rash decisions.
To make a random quote from a well known film
"So this is how liberty dies? To thunderous applause!" (I'll give anyone a cookie if they can spot this quote).
People often ask for it by voting for the likes of Bush or his successor McCain (This guy publicly stated, he want 100 years of war in Iraq, War with Iran or even Russia). Gordon Brown was not elected by the people in the UK, yet he will take us into another illegal war. All preemptive wars are illegal in international law. Who did Afghanistan attack? Who did Iraq attack? Where are the WMD? We've been lied too, time & time again by these people for the 5+ years now we've been at war. It's time to stop.
These are indeed troubling times, and believe me when I say, it took a long time to convince me that we need change (I was conservative, a blue shame on me). I honestly don't know who I'd support in the UK, there is no valid choice, I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils, I'll write in none of the above if I have too.
All I can say is the likes of Ron Paul, Dennis kucinich & Jesse Ventura are the way forward, they offer us a path back the way we came. David Davis has voiced his concerns over Freedom & liberty in the UK, but again he has been sidelined.
Bill Hicks had it right again when he said this "Why do we let the evil people run amok, and shut down the peaceful ones"
We the people need to stand up together fully united and impose our will upon the Governments, no more wars, no more killing, stop now or lose your position, simple. Spend the money on health care, alternate renewable energy sources & Education. Not bombs and machines of death.
Men, Women & Children are dying, I care not of what nation they come from, life is precious and should be preserved at all costs
If we just stood up and did whats right for a change, the world would change for the better.
Forget conspiracy's and such, the world changes for the worse in the blink of an eye.
I don't have all the answers, no one does, but we are getting lost, it's not to late to turn back.
At the very least look into civil disobedience, write to your member of parliament/Senate, make your voice heard. Stop the wars and bring the troops home.
Eminem/Marshall Mathers had it right in Mosh with it's politically charged message:-
EMINEM MOSH - Original VersionAnd ask yourself what you can do for your country and it's people.
Namaste.
