Otherwise you'd have the untouchable top ranks warring against each other, a middle region who beat the smaller ones and get beat up and finally, the crud region who just get pummeled and quit.
Great idea there folks, anyone who didn't start playing the game in 2005, please delete your account and buzz the hell off
No, but in real life - there are military strong countries with millions of people and smaller countries who have to work harder.
It's realistic in a war game that there are the old and powerful, and young and learning.
Of course, they should be able to catch up. But with hard work like others did it. I enjoyed the game much more when I knew a war with some persons would mean I'd be set back for weeks.

I'm sure the new accounts work hard to catch up. Maybe those who inherit or buy new super accounts dont and for them, yeah the game would get boring quick and they sell again.

Because race wars used to mean something. When the goa'uld went after the asguard, it meant thousands of accounts clashing. Now, when a race war starts, its like either less then 20 vs less then 20, OR, it's an alliance vs an alliance anyway, since some alliances call their race based on their alliance name

It has become less "big" because there is little effort needed to mass
resources are easily obtained as well...
a 5mil nooblet can mass a 500mil veteran if he wanted to
i agree. this game has lasted for a while. But it has not been updated with the time.

The game is also loosing the role-play it had. And I don't just mean role-play on forums which I'am not so interested in. F.x when Esker played a goa'uld like no other... me, Apophis, Ra, EtL, AA... remember those times m8?
