ON the PPT in ascension, it is not like main where you can select it, its linked you have no control over it, if you PPT in main its automatically done in ascension, and that is the only way it can be done,

VAC should also be linked both ways.

Even more time consuming in the game which itself is veeery time consuming, but bad idea cause it is importaqn part of the game. Rea;ms can not live without their heathen deities

This would just be another way to stop yourself being descended, if you forget to go vac their too then it's your own fault...plus trying to descend aroun ascended PPT would kill that aspect of the game

Many people value ascension because it's a "pure skill" server, throwing PPT into the mix there would unbalance it, and frankly given how easy it is to PPT on main, the "ascended Council protection" would be overused.

Also: you can buy resources on Main, Protection was introduced as a method to let you keep them. you cannot buy resources in ascension(last i checked), thus that argument is invalid. PPT has a place besides a "short term ascension", and "i don't want to fight you right now, so i'm going to be invincible for 2 days"

i half agree and half disagree with the Vacation linking. if you go on Vacation on Main, then you should go on vacation in ascension, but if you go on Vacation on Ascension, you should only have the penalties associated with it now.

You can purchase DMU on the Ascended server, however, just for a 2:1 ratio of naquadah because of how easily obtainable DMU is, and how many people do not care for that server.

erm 2000:1(i assume you mean) is actually very expensive for DMU

I agree with everything but the ppt, ascended beings don't take days off.

That's only expensive in perspective. Back then, more people played Ascended and naquadah was more valuable making the market to have a better rate.

It's all in perspective though. You could say that 2Q is a good rate for 1T naquadah because you can farm 1T in a single hit, where as, 2Q DMU can be harder for some to find without the proper know how or account to balance it out.

4-5 hits can get u 2 quadrillion easily in Ascension depending on who you hit.

Pure skill your joking right, you needed skill way back before admin made it super easy to catch up, now there is no skill at all, you go and farm 8000 dead inactive accounts daily, convert DMU to LF and boost your stats, where is the skill in that????

If the vac mode for both servers is not linked then the servers are not linked, and thus splitting them should take place, if no split, then the 100% link should be there.

If someone goes into vacation in main, it should be in ascension too..and vice versa..and of course if you attack in either one..the 24 hour penalty should be there for both. As for ppts, most people are away when on ppt..so linking that would make it impossible to descend anyone, unless descension is changed from a minimum of 3-4 hits to 1-2 hits..so have your ppt, but when you are off, run the risk of being descended.

mmm fair point i never considered that, admin cannot make it 1-2 hits else everyone who cannot sit at the comp 20 hours a day is screwed, would prob force more onto vac mode.

How about during PPT ( if its introduced ) you can only be hit every 4 hours with an ascended attack instead of 3, as the Planetary Protection Agency, cannot protect you from an Ascended attack, as it is way more powerful than anything ever seen before.
