A decent enough summary Lore but I would like to make the following points clear however.

I was not aware of any rules that would prohibit me from posting the surrender topic on behalf of Bill.

Bill had indeed suggested that I create a post for his surrender. The confusion here seems to have come in where I was not informed to post privately, prior to posting.

Now, between us we've caused quite a mess. I offer my apologies, but my intentions were honest. I was offering my diplomatic services as the artist known as Diamond Dust.

Being in and out of conversations is a product of having a poor IM client as MSN will not install on my computer. I can't offer any other justification for it than that and would like to stress that I had no intentions of causing confusion.

I enjoyed putting the post together, and were the rules not in place regarding that sort of thread, I'd be happy to let it stay in the General Discussion section. A lot of debate has arisen regarding weather or not the moderation staff have been biased or weather the thread should have remained. I was never looking at that angle as I trust their judgement, however this chaos ensued around my original gripe with Bill as to his desire to have it removed, without my knowledge that forum rules prohibited it.

If that makes sense. Even I'm confused now.

I would welcome the closing of this topic.

I just saw this and I am perplexed. This post was made AFTER Pianomutt withdrew his surrender and returned to TTF.

While I appreciate the serious effort of Diamond Dust to help a friend, a pm to me was the proper way to do it.

I will not elevate this further by going into details and specifics of the multiple convos I have already had with Bill ( and MANY others ) on this issue, but this was not the way to do it.

Since the original post was a direct plea to me I would like to request that if Diamond Dust wishes to talk with me he do so privately, and I also request this be closed.

Its alright, you not been back long. I still wonder why you could answer others MSN's but not mine but I'll let it go.

At any rate I'm going to close this thread. I hope everyone has learned alittle from this and people learn that transparency is whats needed, no need to move from the shadows. Clear, explained, messages/posts could have stopped this from the beginning.



On a side note, I'd like to thank all involved because this has been one of the best complaints as far as everyone remaining civil and polite.
