I think the only thing that keeps this game running is the community. People continue to play because of their friends, or newly made friends. To be honest I miss playing this game more then 3hours a day. Only because I couldnt talk to the friends that I made online. The community and its people are great and its such a pity this game is now going down hill..
Will this game be around in 2015? Lets see.

I used to still play due to pure addiction, plus the lack of something else to fill the void if I left.... eventually I found something to fill the void. But now... stupid alcohol causing a glitch. stupid stupid stupid!!!!

Whether I answer the question "why do I still play" based on the present or past does not matter. It has only been a couple of months since i quit and therefore the reasons i still used to play 2 months ago would be relevant pretty much.

when i start to play GW in 2007,i see 400-600 players onnline
now:215 people playing!,it's a diference
(of 76,221 total)

GW is part of my life, lol. Started playing 4 years ago and never made a stop. I've never really dedicated myself to farming or raiding. Half of the time i've played i just traded my turns for uu and wasn't really active, but never could really stop. It's the only game i've played so long

I also really enjoy talking to friends i made here and it's really fun

me, I play cos of the people in my alliance family, even when I am on a 8 day PPT for an ascention, I'm on the DDE forum having a laugh in the shoutbox. I don't think I'd find it easy to walk away at all!

I think I have stayed cause of HVE as the person above I enjoy being there its the people we have a great laugh there all the time, as they are active we have many good conversations. I think that whats its about. Good company.

The all got reset when the Forum was updated and when all the non-default ones got added back they appeared on the posting page as opposed to "View more smilies" link by default. So it was rearranged or some such in a different manner than before... That's the long answer! Sorry for the off-topic post.
