Just tested, I can't do any of the attacks from the "again" menu after attacking

Quite stupid to include tech levels and ascentions on the game if it's meant for new players.

Surely you want it to be a no ascention game so that they can get used to the attack and interaction aspects of the game and then once they get enough points or whatever to ascend to this 'powerful main account' where they are then introduced to ascentions etc.

Also if raiding requires a stargate on both sides what's the point of building a stargate, keep your account without one and just build up untrained units forever and ever.

This game really needs a lot of work

For farming/massing/raiding/sabbing? The 50k was fun XD those poor soldiers!

And yes, i kept the 1.3T, it says you keep all naq on hand

Yeah, it would make much more sense to get rid of any incremental boundaries - or at least keep them minimal - as it is, me and a few others are uncatchable....within a year of this going live, new players will really struggle to catch up....probably worse than main even.

And when you sab someone your covert goes up against their anti covert NOT their covert. Therefore to defend your account you need anti covert units. Unlike main. Therefore covert is offensive, anti-covert is defensive

ps: does anyone else's bank work?

Which makes the AC tech bug even worse....otherwise I would've had an AC tech of about 7500, and Repli would've never been able to sab me

TBH i don't think the ascensions are that bad of an idea, because, assuming no time delay between them, someone can very easily ascend. I mean really it's no time at all to get the max 13x ascended if it stays something like the current system, you don't need rank, just train up your units to make the ascension currency and X hours later ascend, keep going until 13x and job done, then you can focus on catching up covert/AC levels etc.

Which is a lot easier to compete against/catch up to than those plus a bunch of massive tech levels which can be highly exploited to make a super-sniper account, mega defense account, evil sabbing account etc etc.

One good point about ascending though, is that it gives you access to the bank. However, like I said when I was talking to FM, when I was sitting at rank 1 before snakekeeper's naq came out, I was basically unassailable. So I didn't need to bank. With the way things are at the moment, players have no incentive to ascend, they can just build big stats and sit there comfortable that their naq is safe out in the open.

My bank started working after I ascended.

Absolutely mate, that's why the stupid techs need to go, then ascension and even picking a particular race bonus is important.
