I post now not as a diplomat but as a voice for the diplomats on both sides of this war.

This war has been fought on both sides with honor and strength. Both sides at one time the closest of allies eventually going separate ways for reasons lost to the past. Anger and bitterness eventually taking the place of friendship and brotherhood. Many months both sides have fought each getting the upper had at different times. BILLIONS of troops lost by both sides during this conflict. Tempers flaring in the game and on the forum. Neither would give an inch. From the inception of this war it was impossible to have a clear surrender from either side. Alliance (and player) pride would prevent that from ever becoming a possibility. The best either would ever hope for would be to fight until the anger passes and friendship is found again or at least there is a little less anger..

Having lasted since July of 2012 both sides have vented their anger and shown their strength. Time went on. The war died down. The anger diminished. Now, the diplomats have meet many times and finally they have come to the conclusion that there will never be a surrender by either and it is time to shake hands and walk away.

Will the friendship be found again that was there for so long and then lost or will there be another war? Who knows or cares. The cost of a war until victory would mean a war until the server dies. This, my friends, is what loyalty and pride do.

Take note, however, during this war the total Causalities went way above 7 billion in 24 hours at its beginning. Don't think that its going to stop now..Both sides have those vultures to play with!

This war will officially end Feb 12, 2013 and a two month nap will begin at that time. Complete terms of the nap have been seen and agreed to by ETl, (Leader of Omega Empire) and Kjarkur (head diplomat of The Dark Dominium).

Damn, three fracking days of diplo talks and I'm not even a damn diplo!
I hope everyone vented enough anger and will vent what they have left in the next two weeks and I don't get pulled into some BS diplo crap about someone breaking the damn NAP! I also would like to see both sides post those temp ME records. I havent resent mine since about two days or so after the war began.

Have fun with it people. The war is almost over.
