I would like to request that everyone clean up on ascended. I know a few of you still have me set to war, and I would like to minimize accidents

Highlights of the war for me, were the beginning when everyone was building big and watching ducky, boomer and rob at work. you guys are awesome fighters ...... bring back ducky! the house war was fun, and onliners with lewtenant when we both kept war sets and didn't ppt. middle to end, well, got pretty slow.

time for you guys to rebuild and us to focus our attention elsewhere....

well that part might be a little bit tricky, so yeah it would be great if we could remove war sets between those who are active, and if we accidentally hit for DMU, dont go all crazy, i am pretty sure we could solve such things with couple PMs back and forth.

Very interesting war. Friends going at it. It was like watching a chick fight in Jr High. Hair pulling, clothes being ripped off, everyone watching while laughing and cheering...

We saw some truly epic moments during this war. Enemies being made of friends and friends being made of enemies. Forum mud slinging on both sides due to pent up anger giving way to that feeling of "meh.. who cares anymore".

I would like highlight some people from DDE (since praise from one's enemies is the highest praise one can get).

Bels, damn, always keeping his cool no matter what.
Reathe, old school massing at its finest.
Simpson, for massing my MS upon request so I could raid (and almost every other time I built it!)
[AG]pisoi, for getting me on skype and having a good chat away from the forum and dragging Robert into the convo.
Robert, Damn, you get under my skin but I have to say you are good player and a good person away from the game.
JT, well, I already told you what I think of you on Skype.
KJ, for coming to me of all people to get a diplo thing going because I was according to him "reasonable" and then for putting up with me when I lost it later and was actually being unreasonable by going off on him about something he had nothing to do with (sorry for that man. Yer a damn good guy ).

I wish we could also point out the hearts of both sides, namely the people that stuck with it by supplying resources when needed and taking crap constantly. They are the true heroes of any war. With them I don't think anything would ever get accomplished.

Thanks to the mods for trying to calm us down even when we didn't want to and making sure we all followed the forum rules and trying to keep the threads clean and I would especially like to thank them for locking the thread all the times they did so things wouldn't get worse!

Edit: I think this war was so heated for the simple reasons friends make the worst enemies...

That's exactly what happens. It was also tension that had built up for a long time for some of us.

Now we see what the future holds for us. I foresee exciting times ahead for both empires.
