Alliance/Race war

I got this idea yesterday after reading something about pure race alliances.

Type of Alliance (only with) #########Bonus

Asgard........................... +10%defense, ?
Replicators...................... +10%covert,sab more cheap(turns),
Goa'uld........................... +10%income, a increase % on up
Tauri.............................. +10% strike. more attack turns per turn(not usable to trade)
System Lords................... +20% income, a increase % on up
Ancient........................... +20% defense, ?
Nanotimaster................... +20% covert, sab and spy does't take covert turns
Tollan.............................. +20%strike,more attack turns per turn(not usable to trade)

Ascended Races
Ori +15% strike
Tolah +5% strike and 5% defence
Ajna 5%covert 5%def 5% strike
Indu 10% def

If you're alliance is composed by System lords and the ascended race is Ori you would get +20% income, a increase % on up and +15% strike

This bonuses would not affect rankings, only usable in battle. If you join a pure alliance, you won't be able to leave it an join another for lets say 2 weeks. You could go solo if you want, only joining another alliance wouldn't be possible.
The bonus would only start to work after you reach 10 players.

Why do you feel that players should benefit from having monorace alliances?

100% agaisnt it

1. def have no use in a real war (for asgard and ancients)
2. unlimited sabb for nanoti ???
3. tauri/tollan will become the best race in wartime
4. make two alliance of goauld/system lord, set them at war without fight and see result : crazy bonuse...

i just saw u wasnt proposing this for wartime but everytime... 110% agaisnt it

Exactly, big NO.

and I'm a systemlord who's income would jump 60+ bill a turn, not to mention my UP boost.

meh idk. if there were more pure race alliances and more ppl willing to go to pure race wars then mabey. but race wars are bye bye. nice idea to try and bring em bak.

No - for 2 reasons.....

1 - anything made up of many of the same thing is never as good (and therefore shouldn't be rewarded) as something that is made up with many different things, each of which brings a unique talent.

2 - all that will happen is that current alliances/empires will re-organise so that they have different alliances containing only 1 race....

.... using DDE as an example, we'd potnetially see:

Dominium of the Tauri
Dominium of the Asgard
Dominium of the Goa'uld
Dominium of the Replicators
Dominium of the Tollan

....etc, etc.

This might have worked if implemented from the very start, but not now.

1.If you add another feature besides an increase on def, like being able to have 2 motherships (just an idea)...

2. Perhaps unlimited is too much... what about taking only 2 turn.

3. Have you watched the show/movie? Tauri are the only ones able to fight any race, even the Ori.

4.The income increase perhaps is too much, but the up increase has a point (slaves) - not raw up tho.

Perhaps... but you could make a pure alliance yourself to fight it back.
It would be a big update but it would make this game more fun and similar to the show/movie, as it should be.

But to add bonuses now because some alliances choose, with the key word being 'choose', to be of a singular race is wrong.

I think i see your point... normal alliances would be in disadvantage. Perhaps adding some penalties to it. Suppose your alliance is made of System lords and Ori; You would get bonus on def %10 and strike +10 /ancient technology) but loose covert/anti 15% (very known in the universe). What's your opinion about this?
