Add a description/comment box to the profile page. it would be a max of.. say, 1000 characters, just a simple box placed above the 'actions' section, or possibly below but above would make it more visible.
The editable version would be on the command page I should think, probably above preferences, but if below, definitely above 'recruiting'. A box, with a 'save edit' button below it.
Now if some one wants to leave a message-to-the-world, they don't have to have screwy planet names. Probably one of the simpler suggestions to code that has been put up on this board.
Some might even use it for a touch of Roleplaying by creating a 'character description' there. Others will say something like "Don't U touch My Planets or I Mass U!!!111oneone!" <.< Yeah.
but it's up to each player what they do.
