I'm near death valley...maybe 6-8 hours from AZ... 3 hours from Vegas... 1.5 hours from lancaster..


Look up Ridgecrest CA.

Not planned yet, but i'm all about it :D LA is drivable, as is Palm Springs or Vegas.

Just saw this-I'm in SoCal. I have yet to find anyone else though... I'm up for meetups any time, as long as its not more than 3-4 hours drive.

Edit: To clarify-I'm currently living in the Inland Empire-July I'm moving to Ventura County. During the week I can't afford more than a a half hour-hour drive. Weekends I don't mind a longer drive, particularly if there's anything to photograph.

Also, I did put a SoCal thread in here-but it never got much attention...

Vegas is less than three hours if I don't get pulled over...

what's World-Con? I'm hoping to make it to DefCon this year-but not sure yet.
