i applied for the local vol.fire department here in sergeant bluff IA when the call came in as i was sitting down with my engine chief and being told whati could expect how it works etc. i got a crash course in triage.. within 13.5 mins of being called in and the messege going out 5 surrounding vol companys rushed to the scene in blencoe IA, the station im at went on stand by along with sioux city fire and branson fire.
