why limit it to only giving officers mercs? expand it to untrained units, attack and defense drones/clones, naquadah, and if possible planets, to given to officers by their commanders to help them out, it would be a great addition to the game and it would make it really awesome if you admin guys could make it possible

You can give UU, ATs and Naq to any player as long as you have FSS. So no need to be a CO/Officer to do that.

The planet bit is an ok suggestion.

However the main point of FSS is to be able to give resources to other accounts. If CO could give to Officers like they can with Mercs then the FSS would basically become obsolete.

well, the guy did make some good reasons against it but i only want to give a resource planet to my cousin who happens to be one of my officers, the alliance suggestion is open to all kinds of abuse, but if one has multiple accounts, they use the same computer for them limiting interaction between the two accounts, therfore the transfer of a planet to an officer is cause for less abuse than open market planet trading ro alliance trading.

Maybe he should look for another planet.

Even if your suggestion was implemented it definitely would not be an over night change. You'd be waiting a long time.

Actually I think this idea has merit. This is my veiw.

To stop exploitation, the "trades" come at set lengths of "time served". The first would be say,,,, Naq. After say,,,,, 2 weeks of servise.

2 weeks = naq gifts
4 weeks = AT gifts
6 weeks = UU gifts
12 weeks = Planets (still requiring a 24 hr MS commitment and id say defense losses to stop COs from building massive planets and moving them for free)

yeah thatd be fair, but perhaps shorter terms of service for naq and uu gifts
