Where do we stand?

I personally lost interest in the game in early 2006, after a wonderful few months. For a while, I stayed on with the forum, interacting with this great community and having a blast. Then real life intervened and I took a break at the end of 2007. At that time, ascension was broken, the levels of power ingame were getting ridiculous and things had gotten stagnant.

Just curious if any thing's changed, what the new players see, what the old players remember.
No miners, no raid, no market, no motherships, etc.

well i lost any real interest ages ago.

its not what is once was.
But ascended is simple horryble with the upgrades.
Writing as a mod. But i am currently testing colors. So if you want to claim one as yours or its not the best to read give me a call please :-)

We stand on ground in general, but it changes. In fact most people reading this would be sitting. :lol:

How have things progressed? Well to be honest old chum, things have developed, not to the liking of many, but in the end of the day I thought the goal here was to have fun. :-D

Would not solve a thing.

There is nothing wrong with the game really. The old players are upset because a lot of the older players and social patterns have changed or been removed (partly because of the updates) and thus it is not the same environment it once was. This means they have to search out a more tangible course for a direction of blame (ergo the game is the problem). Instead of grasping the idea that something like this, is not how you do it but rather who you do it with.

I have been around most of the game, and I have stayed playing mainly with the same two people all the way through, and its just as much fun for me as it was back in april 2005. Yeah the nature has changed and it IS less tactical and more political, but meh. It can very easily be lived with if you find the fun in it and dont make it more than a source of socialising and basic entertainment. The pieces are all there, you just have to put them together.

Hahah. very true but care in mind that some people are sad enough to hack your account if you piss them off. (over a game with numbers.....)

@Teesdale
Dont forget about ascended server.... Think about all the angry people who would miss their ascended accuonts... :-D (i think a reset is in order)
