Does making an officer "Right hand"actually do anything?

Being a "Right hand" or a "Nano Prime",
it gives my officers a sense of which one has seniority, (if any)...

and it gives my adversaries a sense of which one I am more likely to violently defend... again, if there is a noticeable difference...

sorta like saying which of your children is your favorite... :P

but yea, it's just a title... :P

Very well put. Back when I had officers I used it for the same. The "titled" officer was senior and more important.

Those are just titles and depends on what rase the Commander is:
