Race Change Q

I wonder, if you change race do you lose your UP??? I tried search, but nothing came up and on the race change page it says nothing about UP just 'stats' so i was wondering about that, also will I lose covert level?

You will lose your commander, and all your technology.
You will LOSE everything in your offsite storage (the 'bank'),
you will also LOSE all trained and super-trained units and covert operatives (spies).

Then again, maybe my search missed something cause I wasn't being to thorough, Flavar you still have those covert turns?
