Person in your avatar (Augusto Pinochet, ex-dictator of Chile) was the kind to have a big central government all at his orders...

Yes indeed, in democracy it's not one single person taking all main decisions...and also not all the rest having to shut up, listen and follow, like sheeps. ;)

aye. that's why in, poardon my french, democracy it's so difficult to create free society. different groups will always try to use the system to achieve some kind of economic slavery (we're taxed now so the govt. could bail out the banks and others, ergo we're banker's slaves. all the time we're taxed so the govt could pay social welfare to social parasites, ergo we're their slaves, end so on... ) unless someone comes up with the ingenious idea of separating the economy from the state. but then, who's gonna vote for the guy? so it'd have to be some kinda dictator. but then, he could introduce full-blown fascism instead. dilemmas....

Not everyone are "social parasites", that really is a wrong cliché..there are parasites, yes, but it's easy to see who they are, and who aren't...
Those people whinning about their country and trying to reproduce like bunnies to get more aids and try to gather more people they can to get even more aids and this little bunch not working ofc and children failing at school. Those INDEED are parasites..

Tell you what Jack.. you help this go through, and I will assure you England will begin insidious operations in conjunction with Texas to cripple the USA and make Texas a very profitable country. Meanwhile we can go back to being lazy and drunk on our little island.

Re: free republic ot texas?

Has Texas already done this before? I cant recall when exactly but I'm sure the state left the union briefly for some reason.

Only remember it briefly as it was one of those sidebar stories you get in papers about 5/6 lines long.
