Re: Memory lane, The Server War 1 year later

The best part of this war has been the making of great friends. Most in Fuall but I've also made some friends in TTF. Desert Ghost is now one of my best SGW mates, we met in The Omegan Empire; I've made great mates like DeMise, Valkyrus, Dastupy, Zeek, Stu, Jeresy and Ryanel* the Good, theres too many to name to be honest! I've spoke to Turkey Man a lot but i think every convo has just been joke after joke after joke, we're yet to have a "serious" convo.

best part of this war has been the friends.
O and getting to rank 1 thanks to generous donations to my bank from TTF.

Peace & Love Fuall, and TTF!

*I never spell that right!

Re: Memory lane, The Server War 1 year later

I liked the battles with Caprila at the begining of the war. :D
Then i had a summer break... then when i returned everything changed. TTF gave up massing me while I was online. Mathlord or wheruchicken were the only ones massing my defense while i was sleeping.

Then there was the war with TITANS, which wasn`t part of the server war, but was 10 times more fun and exiciting.... and duderanch especially was a good sport.

Overall i`m disapointed in the server war. Instead of cutting the crap and the garbage, this war showed up the worse in caesar2, Mathlord, PoD, arkangel in stupid arguments with no sense. I miss the old skool wars with Nox, The Oneill, 311. The new blood in TA are no match, with those guys, in integrity and sportsmanship. About the Legion... there`s nothing left to say except for Infinity who showed the entire war that idiocy has no limits and has no cure for him.

well, in this war i finally hit the magical LG+1 (now way past that as well), also passed the 150mill army size mark (started as 5mill army guy), finally can depend on myself at building my account, made some great friends, had some decent fights and such.

all in all a great experience ;)

Had a few fun battles over the last year.. The thing that amazes me now is how exciting it is to find someone with a defense that isnt on nox. The thing that has disappointed me is how childish the war thread has gotten at times.

Re: Memory lane, The Server War 1 year later

My most memorable part of the war is opening day. When I was accpeted into DDE i was sort of looking how and where I would fit in..the day it started myself and Blahh went head to head in a most exciting battle. Up to that point I had not played like that, always wanted to..well it was battle that required our ppt's for rebuilding and 2 hours of great competition..I must say as we all know his duals were nasty advantages, but I didnt care IT WAS ON!!!..From that point on I have for the most part enjoyed the company of many new friends.

My 1st promotion in DDE came as 1 of my top 2 memorable moments because it let me know that I had gained DDE's approval as a worthy member and fighter.

I have has many many battles in the war, too many to list, but I will say in the battle arena Qacol and his team have been the best competion I could hope for..there were many night our respective teams went at it for literal hours..and we had many 1v1 battles as well.

I wont comment on the negatives as anyone can see what they are by observing the war thread..but all in all this has been a great experience for me in making friends, how to play at another level and also the greatest of all is being a part of the family in DDE. I love them all even the ones I hate and will play all out for any of them.

There are so many things for me to mention, I will mention more as the thread developes.

I would also like to note that playing alongside my Omega brothers and sisters has been a grand thing.

They were indeed memorable :) I remember several times trying to break your def fast before you looked. Much honor to you.

Other clear memories :

*On the first night, seeing mercs disappear within seconds of the turn. Seeing everyone run around like headless chickens, and getting going anyway

*Chasing Galadriel across the ascended plain, playing hide and seek with much at stake. Laughing and joking over the billions of planets destroyed, and doing the same thing again next week 8)

*Sneaking past Orpheus' MS, to mass his planet.. and the RP about barmaids afterward :)

*Late night mass sessions with Jedi Tank. Battles were great, but not many will back off while I sort out baby-niece.. but he did, and kept his word .and I have not forgotten that :)

*Learning to love people. . on both side of the battle-line ( a certain leaving/joining comes to mind also ;) )

*Getting 50mil spies off Predators

I could go on  We have a year worth of memories.

I hope we'll have another year to add to them.

Re: Memory lane, The Server War 1 year later

Memories eh?

My first memory of this war is when it was started. I stole 5T off Zesh. :-D

There is more but I'm not going to write a large paragraph because I'm lazy. :D

But maybe I'll write more later tonight.

Re: Memory lane, The Server War 1 year later

one of my moments was when extremer trainned over 30 mil spies and i trainned the same number of ac units just to not loet him to play around :-D
he untrainned after first hit and i raid from him 700 k uu with 15 turns
he trainned fast but my point was said
he never trainned that spy again :-D
and make me to build one of the best ac levels and teach others how to play in war times
offcourse i can't say is my tactic but after me manny other copy
:-D
there are so manny moments
batlles with mathlord and everytime he saying he is happy with his losses but he always ended with good days of inactivity :-D
happy birthday server war
see ya next year and hope next year we will see and some party 8)

When confronted about them supporting Bebita and Rob3rt (as there were suspicions as to be a tiny account got his MS and Naq / Turns etc) neither deny their involved behind the scenes but instead hint towards it being a coincidence.

Fun times massing the big defs down and finding new ways to fight. But like JT said the battles we had with each other can go down in the books. Can not forget Tekki and bebita and so many more to talk about. Great fights and more to come. I can not forget massing Noberts MS after someone tells me he hit them.

My most memorable moment of the big war was..... me not being in it. :-D :-D :-D

Although that never stopped JT from massing me. Oh good ol' days!

Actually me selling 10's of thousands of AT's to both sides was pretty memorable, helped give me a few new paint jobs on my MS, which sadly is permanently parked away in my cargo hold never to be seen again. :D

Oh and another memorable moment, or make that a few memorable moments, was things getting out of hand in the War thread and dishing out warnings left right and centre, it was like handing out cookiez! :-D

anyway I must dash off, i'm out to meet a lovely girl in the gorgeous sunshine. If i'm late then that would be the last of me forever! If i'm on time, I might get lucky :P

Re: Memory lane, The Server War 1 year later

I remember those mercs indeed..."gone in 60 seconds". Everyone was like buy mercs, buy mercs...I wasnt even able to buy some...and those endless farmfests, my god.

I have made a lot friends amongst FUALL, to bad I wasnt able to stick around, wasnt able to become more active due to RL-issues. Wife running away during fights (SGW-fights)...she went crazy!

Sad thing to mention: members who left: for instance Blahh, awesome fighter imo, once he trained a little defense about 200 bil or something with 4 million spies. At the moment I was able to wipe out his spies he just came back from the store and untrained.
