Most Overrated Games This Gen?

The Sims and its 50 thousand million expansion packs. sims party, sims hot date, sims university, sims deluxe, sims double deluxe, sims unleashed and on and on and on. Damn bloody useless thing makes you spend half the time cooking dinner, going for a pee and a shower. You try and save time by doing all 3 at once and end up spending half the day cleaning up the mess.

It must have something going for it being the highest selling game ever but bloody hell it starts irritating the crap out of you very quickly.

anything Lego. all those PSP packs with lego batman and w/e just anger me. *raeg*

now i'd also say any Final Fantasy game. i know i'll get slapped around for saying that, but COME ON..... they're good games I'll admit, but it isn't 'teh best gaem EVAR'.....

and on that note: FarCry. its good, a bit, but it wasnt anything that grabbed my attention.... (unlike Crysis.... oh lawdy i hope they announce a sequel at E3....)

Agreed on Sims, although they are alright games (Most of the time).
Halo... I agree that it got too much attention but I think the storyline was absolutely great, gameplay itself was good too, for its time.. and multiplayer was very good also, until COD4 came out haha

The original Halo still holds a special placer in my heart, next to the likes of Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Psi-Ops etc. <3

halo (original) is good, but they really tried to milk the series too far with 2&3.... not as much with 2, a sequel was warranted but..... meh.

Course you'd be obsessed with the Sims, just look at your sig!

you know as well as i do she's not from the sims

i did play the sims a little, many years ago, but it got old very VERY quickly. the creators of that game series have milked it almost as much, if not more than Square Enix and final fantasy.... not including the cameo's in Kingdom Hearts. both sims and FF creators need new IP..... this is just OLD.
