™WORLDEATERS ~Perseus~ ™WORLDEATERS(90425) has set their relation with you to: War 23:11 reply delete save

Is that during the server backup period? Or were the part of an alliance, declared it for the alliance, then left it?

For clarification. Does this also work if you are your own officer/commander?

Offcource not you need exact 2 offiers then came 3 new war/neutral/peace buttons but they are to set you and all your officers against the person and officers.Did you never noticed the buttons in the past?

Well would that work without the commander tool or waiting the 24h dead-line ,
were the setting to war function a too powerfull "weapon" and not balanced for this normly very very good balanced game.

Humm, tricky one.

Clearly those buttons are intended for setting officer relations, also clearly whatever timer check enforcing the 24hr relations wait is not being applied (I imagine it is somthing that slipped through code changes but I am fairly sure it's been like that for a long time. Only admin could say for sure).

My thoughts on this is that: If somebody is setting war to gain an advantage (extra kills/avoid NOX ect) but then using this method to set relations to neutral again to prevent the enemy taking advantage of a possible twin war setting (which is lets face it why most people do NOT set war in general as we all love NOX), well, that is exploiting this loophole.

At least that is what I think ... *shrug*

Now. I see that you ~WORLDEATERS~ have set war with me.....then sabbed me...and then used this to set yourself back to nutral again soon as you were done, clearly gaining an advantage....

Dunno about that, what do others think about that?

Tested it out myself.

Went from War >> Neutral >> Peace >> War >> Peace >> Neutral

All in the space of less than a minute.

But only using the All out war option which affects your officer relations too.

This will be something to bring up with Jason tonight as it is a loophole around the relation settings.

Jason is having a look at this.

It should not be possible to change relation like this.
