Individual War Declaration Bug

It looks like there is a bug that allows you to set war to someone, then using Commander Relations (as long as they are a CO/officer) set them to total neutrality. You can then repeat the process as many times as you want. While normal relations require that you wait 24 hours and Alliance relations do as well, this allows someone to set war, farm or raid, then set neutral again and avoid being counterattacked.

Seems to me like a pretty big deal of a bug as it allows someone war declaration without repercussion. Found it out when a friend asked and I tried to see how it was possible that someone could set war then neutral, not once, but twice within 24 hours. It appears that you can do it an unlimited amount of times this way.

Yea, we just checked this out and yea.. you can set war or peace and do total neutral and it erases the previous settings.. so you could have someone at peace and total neutral them set war farm/mass/raid/ and total neutral and reset peace..

i think thats a pretty exploitable bug right there.

Yes this has been mentioned several times now.

Jason is aware of it. When I chased him up about it he had thought he had fixed it, clearly not.

Ahh, I wasn't sure as I only saw one topic which no one replied to regarding this bug. Good to see he knows about it, as I know that some people have heard about it before, but not realized what could be done to take advantage of it.

im not going to say with 100% that its fixed.. but i no longer see the total neutrality button or total peace or total war for that matter so i believe it has been completely fixed now..? or is it just me?

do they have an officer or co? if not then that is likely why.

COMMANDER RELATIONS
(affects you, all of your officers, them and their officers if any)

^^ above bug is now fixed. 24hrs between relation changes using "ALL OUT WAR", "TOTAL NEUTRALITY", and "TOTAL PEACE".

Confirmed and tested.

It would seem this bug has been caused again through a different method. Thread re-opened until solved

Debug code has been added. Should this happen again. A log will be created viewable by Admin, and hopefully fixed *again*
