Plague a flat rate?
Hey guys I was just wandering if the losses you suffer in plague are a flat rate or do the losses increase the further you go over the limit? If so is there a % that anyone knows of?

Re: Plague a flat rate?
this is what the game update page says
The 'maximum units' before plague and disease hit your realm has been increased and made dynamic. It is set at about 200million units currently, before the plague sets in. This amount grows daily, and can be seen in the 'training' area of your account.
If/when the plague hits you, it is more severe, and increases both with time, and the further from above the maximum sustainable population you grow - it would be wise to establish your death rates (visible in your population summaries when over the limit) and ensure your growth is greater than you death rate, if you wish to continue to grow your population....

Re: Plague a flat rate?
Took me a long time to find it out, but assuming that the rates are the same on beta as on main which they should be the plague losses are 50 deaths/turn for every 1 million units in your army.

so its 50*450*48?
so you'd need a total up over a mill just to grow by a few uu per day

Well.. that seems 'fair'.. Want to grow? Do it properly, and blast through the cap on a steroid-powered UP.. 1m Raw (there's at least one player who has this), 10 500k planets (there are a lot of huge UP planets around, and there's the Suttles planets.. gotta catch them all). 6m UP ftw. *grin* Cap? What cap?
*win*

Thats why most just sell the UU for additional income.

Re: Plague a flat rate?
Its a hell of a lot better to have a 6 mil UP and sell 6 mil UU a day sitting just under the cap than to loose 1 mil + UU a day and grow a bigger army, as really, 400 mil army is enough
12agnar0k be taking over this here account, argh!
