Destroying platforms

How do you attack platforms?

ie i built 9k fleets and attacked about 10 to 15 times and still the platform was there.

Is there another way to beat them?

abit like massing a whole defence but hardly touching the troop defence

Re: Destroying platforms

No you keep massing it like you would regular planet defenses. Only fleets count nothing else

Re: Destroying platforms

platforms work the same as normal planet defense, except needing 15% to hit planet defs you only need 10% to hit platforms.

I know it's a quote from a movie, but why even post it?

This is correct, but mind you... this is practically the bare minimum. If you send 10% against a platform, it may or may not survive.

A planet with planet defenses and platform defenses will require you to send at least 10-15% of the planet defenses... just like a planet with only planet defenses, but your fleets will only survive if it is over 10% of the total of your planet + platform defenses power.

I guess it's only fitting that a newbie re-ask a question that's already been answered, but all of this has been covered numerous times before, but the most thorough thread I know of is here...

If a person doesn't know the answer ( despite the fact that the question has been answered correctly numerous times ), they shouldn't reply with a horrible, uninformed "guess".
