[Gatewars Normal Server] Black Market/Broker Issue

Okay so i bought lik 21t naq from black market yesterday, and recieved it and 60 minutes ppt. As Soona s i recieved it i set a broker with ~jason~
ID = 102207, for 30m UU. Problem is our friend jason lives in australia whils ti live in england... So iw aited up ALL the damn day/night until 5am when i could stay away any longer to make sure when he accepted the trade i could train the UU straight away and not lose them. The minute i went to sleep he accepts the trade... (i had also sent him a message saying DONT ACCEPT THE TRADE!!, msg me first to check im online) so not only was i asleep when he accepted but the UU went straight into untrained and then some ass mass raided me for the lot. So ive just payed $30 for nothing...

would it be possible to refund steventhegreat, ID = 89527, The AT's he used to farm me, and refund the UU he farmed from me to me?

i ask, but realistically i know its possible to give it back to me and take it away from him. But what im really asking is will you? Because in any other case he wouldnt have gotten it, i payed YOU the SGW staff for it, and due to a slow broker accept and a HUGE time zone difference i was unable to be online to collect it -.-

I would much prefer its done this way than i have to waste time massing and sitting on steventhegreat 's account

You have zero chance of getting your things back (although I'm no admin )....it wasn't a bug, it wasn't a glitch.....admins will accept no responsibility.

This is why you should always get someone to broker you if you're doing trades for uu...or make sure you'll be on ppt.....

well PPT wasnt available to me, and since it only gave me a 60 minute ppt, and it looked as tho ~Jason~ was online giving his thread was at the top of the forum and he had replied last... i set the trade. What wasnt so obvious was the time zone difference. And technically there was a bug..

When you trade Naq using Broker, a lot of the time it goes straight into your bank, even if your bank isnt big enough.... were does uu go? straight were it can be taken a second later?

Sorry but i payed for a service, that being the naq to buy UU with, that was my intention the second i bought it. And the SGW staff have failed me in letting my money be completely wasted due to a badly designed trading system.

As you can imagine im seriously pissed off that ive lost money and been unable to do a thing to prevent it -.-

and i suggest the game admins do something to make trading safer.

I payed for naq yes, but in doing so i payed for a service from a company. The same company has failed to deliver a good service in allowing me to sit there with 21t naq in my hands 60 mins ppt and no other way to keep it than to set a broker for something.

WHAT kind of reasoning is there behind letting trades happen when you could be offline and therefore unable to make use of thet trade.

Lets say i got 1 quad naq... it would have gone into my bank, and each turn id have lost x amount.... now lets talk about UU... you trade for UU it goes into your untrained and the entire server can take it from you without you having a chance... AT? well they just go into a nice little window of pixels were no one can touch them?

the broker system is flawed. So yes maybe its a user error, but when you have about 20k players from all different regions and timezones... simply settling for such a **Filtered** (for lack of a better word) trade system, is unacceptable.

so maybe by being human and actually having to sleep whilst my trade partner is awake on the opposite side of the world is a mistake? or perhaps just maybe.... allowing ppl to rush things because they only get 60 minutes to do something with that they bought on the black market is a mistake? or maybe not letting peopel choose when they get the resources from a broker is a mistake?

there is 3 possible mistakes, and only one of them can be influenced by me...

let the admins do the math. Disclaimer or not, something has gone wrong here and you owe it to a customer to deal with it... PROPERLY!

It comes down to this: you paid admin for naq....he delivered the naq as per the agreement and even threw in a small ppt so you could spend the naq how you wished....he is not liable for anything that happens after that point.

Now I do happen to agree that uu going straight into the open (compared to naq that goes into your bank) is not an ideal way for the brokering system to work. But that is a complete side issue and not related in any way to the money you spent.

You paid admin for naq, he delivered. It really is as simple as that. Whatever happens to the naq after that is your fault and problem, not his.

If your wanting to talk to an admin then the IRC meet is your best bet as they are never on here long enough for an actual conversations.

On that note i think your wasting your time. As the others have said you got what you paid for and aside from the free ppt its not jasons job to hold your hand. UU goes into the open because how would a trade pay to train your miners somewhere? And again as said there is supposed to be risk in trading and part of that is where alot of farmers get there resources
