firefox not displaying entire pics

my firefox 3.6.3 sometimes doesn't want to display some images correctly. it just shows top x% of an image (even after reloading the page)
has anyone got this problem?

not just the Irish, just those of us with...... bad internet connection.

i get it when my internet is capped, best solution I find, either clear your browsers cache THEN reload, or if that doesn't work, if the image is something you're trying to download as opposed to something embedded in a web page (like if you're google image searching and have a URL for the image itself...) I find a DL manager seperate to IE/FF/Opera is best.
