Hey dudes, for you people out there that either want to know the formula to calculate UP costs, want to make their own UP calculator or whatever here is the mathematical formula with which to calculate UP costs. I'm thinking of making one when I have a minute or two. I calculated it today during math class instead of listening to the teacher
Anyways, heregoes:
The formula:
Code: Select all
(-1(A-B)/3)((15000((B-1)/3)+15000((A+2)/3))/2)
(where: A = first UP, B = target UP)
The TI-83 program you can make (to save you from entering the formula everytime):
Code: Select all
:Disp "A:CURRENT UP"
:Disp "B:DESIRED UP"
:Prompt A,B
:Disp (-1(A-B)/3)((15000((B-1)/3)+15000((A+2)/3))/2)

Ok, I made a PHP calculator for it today. Have fun

I might add little upgrades to it, like spy level costs, a nice advanced sabotage calculator that has several options to it, such as what race you are, do you know your opponent's alert level, if so, choose it in the combo box, and if you want to remain anonymous, and of course your spy level.

Yes, it's a calculator for which you can also make programs among other things.

I think that it would be more like
The upgrade for the last 3 from the 5 digit to the 6'ers would cost 499995000 For for a raw up of 100002 and a total naq cost of 999975000

Apparently, it's the new way of teaching math to kids these days. Ah, back in ye olden days, when we had such sophisticated tools as our heads, and pen n paper. No programmable calculators for me. If something comes up that a simple calculator or pen and paper can't fix, Matlab is my next stop.
