planets

I have a question... does the cost to upgrade a planet increase if your planet is bigger. I have these 2 planets:
1. size monstrous 12,551 Unit Production the cost is 42 mill
2. size small 15,591 Unit Production the cost is 52 mill
I think I remember that last time I played this game the cost depended on the planet\'s size...
Also.. another question. When you upgrade the size of a planet what\'s the bonus you get from the upgrade? If it is known.. an example could be what do you get from a small planet with 10k UP if you upgrade it to normal...
