Right im pretty new to the ascended server but ive got the jist of it. However i dont seem to be getting anywhere, i cant attack most people and the people i attack dont have much money out, is there something im doing wrong?

not really, you just have to take some time to build your planet size, everyone had to do it.

build your charisma and expansionary fleets, id say 50k fleets for every 100 charisma, that should give you a big bonus to producing planets and once you hit 2b planets you're production will start to slowly decline (a function of the game). Long as you sign in once every 6-7 hours to check your game you cant be descended even with the lowest stat possible
