You need to look at making these more expensive, due to their current cost it just encourages sniping.....people can farm nowing there really isn't a lot you can do to them as even if you sab them they can fully rebuild all weps in a couple of seconds.
I would imagine top income can currently buy 10mil weps a turn
failing to make a change pretty much makes sabbing pointless

Make it 25% more effective then then to prevent the sliding scale unfairness of doom...As in RP terms it should be easier to fortify yourself on your home planet than it is to take your whole army to another planet and back...

Making all weapons more expensive will just mean that defenses get smaller as well. Making attack weapons only more expensive, will likely kill any possibility of farming actives. While that doesn't fix the original complaint, I don't really see it as one. The farmer can easily afford to build up a strike, yet those who are defending can't do the same and buy a large defense?

as has already been pointed out to you previously, building a def and strike are quite different. Build a strike...at worst you lose attack weps from a sab....build a def and you can have it massed + lose weps.
It's potentially a lot more costly to play by building a def then it is to build a strike...especially considering the cost of weapons atm.

meh does it matter?
The only way to make sure no one attacks you is, to have no income... so untrain miners when your not online or on PPT.
OR build a defense.. 20-30% of your armysize in spies and troops... I mean remember i'm on goal for 1bil UP.. and if i got a bil up why do i care if i lost a few 100mil getting there.

Also, defense is completely killable, but has the added benefit of getting/keeping your income without you being there. Attack only works if you attack people, so you have to work for the income from it.
High Empty is right to a certain extent, if you have too much of an income, you will get farmed. But basically if the cost to build up to take your naq is less than how much you have out, you are likely to get farmed.
