Hello all,
I have had a few people ask me what has happened to Mosiah. He is a member of Alpha now with the rest of Expansion. He is also Grounded for the next 6 to 12 weeks for bad grades in school, lets just say more then 1 F on his report card. So if he gets his grades up within the 6 weeks before progress reports come out he will get his computer back and be back in game. If not then he will have another 6 weeks before report cards come out again to get the grades up.
So long story short he is on vacation mode until his grades come back up to passing. I know I'm a mean dad.
Mosiah

Well the big thing is he wanted to stay with Insaneone. Time will tell if he stays in Alpha or not. He has been told what might happen to him because he is a member of Alpha. But my thinking is he will still play the game he has always played and I think people who know of him will leave him alone for the most part. And for the ones who don't know of him and mass him well, we will take it one day at a time.
Anyways I think he will have his grades up soon because he really misses SGW lol.

Re: Mosiah
I actually believe Alpha is a good place for him. Alphans are extremly protective and helpful, not to mention a tight group of friends. A SGW family.

Re: Mosiah
aye I remember when I was a kid and I got grounded for a month (real Grounded, no TV and confined to my bedroom) for breaking into an old house and playing hide and seek with my mates when I was 10.
Makes 6 weeks seem like a life sentence.

Re: Mosiah
If someone masses him there's more than enough of us floating around to
1. Replace his losses
2. Make the person who massed him realise how much of a mistake it was.
The issues with him were considered before Expansion joined Alpha including some what if situations and alternate solutions to problems.

A sentiment I can agree with, except some of them have never done a good job. Re: Mosiah
My parents didn't believe in grounding me and my brother - instead they made deals with us before all exam periods.
We realized we were luckier then other kids, behaved and passed all exams with style, and still do.
This grounding method belongs with cave-men.

Similarly, I believe that people in general are inherently flawed. Deep down, we are programmed to hurt one another; either physically or emotionally. People are naturally selfish and greedy; governed more by bestial urges than common sense or ethics. Society is a terrible thing, too. The more supposedly civilized we become, the more immorality and decadence become the main staple of our daily diet.
Before Lost concluded, my main flippant excuse for not killing myself was that I wanted to know how it ended. I will get back to you with a new one when I find it.

arkangel13 wrote:seems to me you should have helped him with home work vs playing sgw urself. hmmmmm
If only it was as easy as just helping with home work. Lets see where do I start. Ok the home work never makes it home because he does not want to do it so it goes out the window on the bus ride home. He just refusses to take part in class all day on any given day and paces in the hall all day at school. Shuts down and will not respond to anyone or anything because he don't want to. Gets upset when they try to make him do school work when he does not want to and brakes windows, doors, knocks holes in the sheet rocked walls and ends up in the support unit for 10 days to make sure he is no longer a danger to his self or others.
Yup and this is just a small part of it so tell me again how I should help him with his home work
You see, I have been working with him for the last 4 years and know what works with him and what does not. Taking away the one thing he likes the most gets him on track every time. I'm his foster father but He is my son in every sense of the word.
