Should I Ascend To Unknown ?

I am in 2 minds about ascending to unknown, i am currently at Origin Of Existance, i am not sure if it is worth the extra bonus to ascend to Unknown.

so i am asking all you guys,

DDE i would like the truth not just a tactical yes since it means i lose more resources lolz (i trust yas would give a proper answer and not a tactical answer anyway lol)

I wanted to stop at origin because i like the title.

But i carried on simply because getting that far and stopping seemed a waste. Like getting in sight of the mountain summit and saying nearly is good enough.

UnNamed is soul destroying for its utterly crap title.

Have you built up your account considerably as a TOE?

If so, I'd say stay. The last few are gonna cost a hell of a lot, and you get a very small boost... If you JUST ascended to TOE and haven't built up yet and are wondering if you should continue, go on ahead.. You're already almost there.

I say no. I got to GoAG an stayed there because I built the account up and I likes the title better. Think about the resources already invested and the resources it would take to et you back to where you are at just for a small percent gain and then think what kind of magic those resources could work on your account now. It's up to you but just weigh what's already invested vs what you'd gain.

the next 3 ascends cost aprox 220-230T naq (up and uu )...and 2months...lol
I don`t think that this will pay back in few years..(if you consider the plus bonus from OoE to Ukn)
my oppinion is: use this naq to get a good covert level, will help you better ..

id say it depends on the stats , like cov and Up you have now , if its crap get it done !

Its been 6 months of frustratingly low stats, crappy coverts and frantic raiding to fund the 5 G&R 's, but oh so worth it, because when I hit ascend for that last time, I swear my face hurt from grinning!

I too loved the title 'origin of exsistance' but had I stopped there I'd have felt like my journey was not yet quite complete.

So to me, its not about the extra 2% chance of ascended blessing, but about reaching my goal, and obviously, doing it myself, funding it myself (by raiding/farming) and in spite of the fact that DDE is permanently at war lol!

everyone's opinions are of course, valid, just thought a little insight into mine might help

When you look at the cost to benefit ration of those last few ascensions it is hard to justify them, especially when you add in the frustrating amount of time needed in low levels to finish, time when you are effectively out of the fight due low levels making you vulnerable to sabs/ACs.

BUT

There is something alluring about the Unknown title, and having an account as highly ascended as it can possibly be right now, and also the consideration that if more ascension levels do eventually get opened up with bonuses that make them worthwhile, you wont be delayed in getting them.


Id say go for Unknown

i took your advice on not selling my account (that and the best offer i got was only 300$ and i wanted a bit more), i do feel good about not selling it. so maybe i should on this issue as well lolz

Unless you've already invested massive amounts into coverts and up at origin then finish to UK

Moved as this is a question I'm sure a few are asking.

I personally went to Unknown as I wanted one thing my account is the top in. (At least until admin releases more ascensions) It can be helpful if you go through a lot of resources using your account, as in the long run it will save you a bit. However, as some have said, it does cost quite a bit, so I would really only ascend if you were not built up significantly.

i say go for it. if you stop, in a few months you might change your mind and regret not doing it, plus your after getting this far why not just finish it.
