Not sure if they'll use your banner, but it's pretty nice, who knows maybe if you got some community input, and admin input, they'd be willing to use a banner of your making. Not sure though as I'm not a forum administrator.

I suppose you could use a dial-up modem, just don't participate in any online battles.
Also, the current image totals are already 400k just for the main page. I still remember when I was on dial-up, and a 8mb download took almost 2 hours. So based off that, it would take 6 minutes to load each page as it stands

And if your gonna say "disable images", same can be said for the new banner

Big difference between 5 MB per picture and 400 k total, Sarevok.. Also, your math is off. You load all pictures once, store them in the buffer and voila, where necessary they pop up. Server requests are still sent though, since the game correctly assumes not all of us have a smart browser..
