i unfortunately dont have any evidence of said planets previous stats (when i found it), but it was quite a good find and so i remembered how much it had
had it for 2(?) days now and have been on PPT and quite inactive lately so didnt look at it again until now
i think it was about at 30% stat drop too

found as in u sent ur MS out and found it or found as in u found somenoe who had it and took it?




*edit: re-read ur post and my comprehension obviously needs some work..... never had a planet randomly lose stats..... are u sure someone didnt try to conquer it? maybe it was dmg'd that way. can't remember if stats drop during attack or only after its been taken.

Here's a theory

Conquered planet stats aren't updated on the turn change anymore. The planet you found was recently conquered and then dumped. You found it before it was updated. Finally, it was eventually updated and the stats dropped.

Quite possible, not all the planets I've stolen have their stats updated within 24 hours, sometimes takes two days I've noticed.

yes, it was found by my MS through exploring (the option just above te rest of my planets) and was not attacked by anyone while i have owned it

and if planets arent getting updated on turn change (which is when you recieve the planets when exploring) what code determines when they do update?

I'm guessing it updates at a specific time per day or something, similar to the ME ranking..
