I'm pretty happy with how it works out. It was a logical step that I think needed to be taken. We'll see how the new Playoff system will go, though.

They passed along

Eastern, Central, Northwestern and Western during the Wings game tonight.

That makes no sense. There are 2 conferences in the East, not the West. They need geography lessons.

I am laughing so hard looking at Detroit's conference.

Unless half those teams pick a stick out their ass, they are virtually giving two teams access to the playoffs each year without a problem.

Poor Chicago, and Detroit. Having to play in them playoffs.
