I'm pretty happy with how it works out. It was a logical step that I think needed to be taken. We'll see how the new Playoff system will go, though.

than the first 4 letters of the Western alphabet...

It's gutsy to revise an existing system. I look forward to seeing how this works out.

I am laughing so hard looking at Detroit's conference.
Unless half those teams pick a stick out their ass, they are virtually giving two teams access to the playoffs each year without a problem.
