Not the game for me

I guess this is not the game for me. I understand how the game is played, but I am just getting tired of getting attacked by a much larger player who is 15+ levels of ascension above me and since I am not in a position to to fully fight back I am almost "forced" to just sit back and take it.

Well I dont want to turn this into "sour grapes", because the game is what it is and I understand that. I was told by one player who attacked me not to take it personally but I guess I do and since that is something that is on me, it just means that this game is not the best fit for me.

I do want to thank of all of those who have helped me in the game. My commander Jany269, and those that are in the Tech Ventures alliance specifically Kaffe, and Oma_Desala. I would also like to thank a player who I have since forgotten their name, I had no prior contact with them but when I was looking to ascend for the first time they just gave me 55,000 UU without asking anything in return. I wish I could remember your name but thanks again.

One final item I would like to throw out a couple of suggestions to help make this game a little bit more fair. This game is dominated by the largest players, they seem to be able to do anything they want because young players can do nothing about it. Even joining a alliance doesnt stop them. My suggestion is to limit the attacks on ascension level like it is with raiding. So you would need to be within 5 levels of ascension in order to attack. Ok, so maybe that might not be feasable but just a thought. It just sucks getting attacked by much larger players and not being able to do anything about it.

One other suggestion is G&R score. Currently if you are under rank 1,194 you can get 5 G&R points per turn, but there is no way a player who is in the first 5 or so ascension levels can get to that rank because it is dominated by the largest players. So it is a case of the rich getting richer.

I would suggest you not to leave and consider the "new grounds" server, it's meant to help newcomers to get started in main. The game will be live in February I think, it's currently in beta mode but anyone can create account to test there. It will be meant to be only for newcomers, when it goes live, and the ascension system there will be meant to separate newcomers from main servers with its big players.

I suggest that before you consider leaving you consider joining an alliance that is well equipped to help those 'younger' players in the cosmos. HVE for example. They have produced some of the very best players the game has to offer and you'll not only find people who know what they're talking about in terms of the game, but some excellent company in terms of life itself.

I'd also stress that you adapt your ingame strategy to something far more personally pleasing.

Or join the alliance where the **Filtered** who attacks you like a **Filtered** is in.
In my case, that would be that same oh-so-awesome HVE. In your case.. check your attack logs.

With all these replies it looks like you don't need to quit, as there's plenty of support around if you ask for it.

My advice would be to take the alliance offers and atleast have a second go. There is plenty this game can give back with some time, maybe with some help from an alliance you will find that.

ill help you out, though the reason the ascension level wont work though is because there was not always that many ascension levels, so many people stopped at LG+1 or AG and built up levels, which aren't even half the levels now, and didn't wanna lose their levels so never ascended more. and almost everybody has been there (i was for over a year) you just need to find someone to help you out.
