I'm afraid, holistically speaking, history is my weakest subject. However, "The New Model Army" are one of my favourate bands. I'm sorry that i can't speak on the matter with any conviction; i can say that, based on infamy alone, they must have been quite formidable. Especially when, as i understand it, the Ironsides were still strong enough to form the backbone of The New Model Army despite being split into two regiments.

They didn't have enough "influence" on the British Monarchy if you ask me.
The entire bloodline should have been wiped out and any would-be/wannabe English monarch should have received the same "treatment".
