PM Flavar with some german. I'm sure he'd be willing to assist when he's got the time.

Re: Any one here speak german?

german is **Filtered** up language..
look at this sentence from before:
Ich liebe dich Kumpel und du wirst immer in meinem Herzen sein.
you have to add -e or -en or -em or i dont know what else.. and its different from time(pp,ps,pc...) and sex..
all nouns(?) like "dog" have die/der/das Hunt(dont know which one xD)
like die for female, der for male and das for it.. but it's not always like that..
then sometimes you have to put instead of die,der,das.. dem, des,dem or den.. and it's crazy :D

so vielen Glück und alle besten mit deinem Gesprächen ;)
(or atleast something like that xD)

oh and btw: v is read as f, and w is read as v ;)

Reason: Let the filters do their jobs. Don't mask.

Re: Any one here speak german?

not really Frozen Flame :D

v is read as w or f, depends on the word.

also, correctly it is: Viel Glück und alles Beste (actually you´d say "Gute") mit deinem Gespräch. And: "Hund" for dog.

But yes, german grammar is quite difficult when it comes to articles.

Trust me. Japanese is much more complicated.

Incorrect. Japanese is one of the easiest languages to learn, it's the many different kanjii that's hard. but that's a memorization of volume problem. really it's a very black and white language, as in not a lot of slang.

like chinese, the sound "ma" can be said three different ways to mean three different things.

When compared to Chinese, most languages are easier.

Japanese is complicated due to the fact that there are 4 different versions of dialogue (short form and 3 keigo styles). Also, it tends to be more difficult for Western languages because it's a subject-object-verb language, which has numerous particles determining what and how things are stated. Not to mention the pitch accents depending on the dialect. Most foreigners learn Tokyo Japanese, but Kansai dialect will always screw them up. The thousands of Kanji is also rather difficult to learn/memorize.

Yes, learning rudimentary conversational Japanese is relatively simple. Becoming fluent as a native is infinitely more difficult, especially for the average Westerner.
