When I last checked (an hour ago, my income was around 25,000 (give or take). An hour later, it had dropped to around 22,000. I have no clue what happened.

Anybody care to shed some light on my situation?

Did you by any chance train any troops since that time? Failing that could be your commander's slice of income changed.
