What do you raiders think about the Def Con updates?
It seems to have discouraged a lot of would be raiders from starting up. I have noticed a far greater amount of UU today then I have seen in a good while. I have been completely annoyed with the Critical Def Con, but the Low Def Con seems to be all right.
About half the people with suitable UU are on Def Con and it really isn't worth it yet to start attacking them, in my opinion of course. I think we ought to try and keep them around 40K UU for raiding purposes to make sure that the time to raided ratio is profitable.
So what do the rest of you think of the update, from the raider's stand point of course.

I prefer it before the update.
The best thing about raiding now is that it is actually cheaper. Basically instead of paying a million in repairs every 20-30 attacks, I now spend 0 because all my attack ability comes from planets. And also, when a person is not in def con mode, it can be quicker, because I don't have to repair my weapons.
However, on that last note I would like to ask a question, and I hope someone can answer it. Does anyone know if people come out of def con mode after a period of time. Like for example, say a dead account (which 80%-95% of raid targets are) is in critical because of all the attacks on it. Will that person ever be out of critical again, or does he have to log on to do that?
If the answer to that is no, then I say this def con mode thing stupid, and should be reconfigured. If that is so then soon most raid targets will be in critical, now and forever. However, if people do come out of def con mode after say a week, then I don't mind nearly so much.

i like it, all the impatient people have given up, leaving more for me. my average was around 22 per 1 turn before update, and in half an hour yesterday between PPTs, i used 4k turns and got 140k UU, 120k of that was pure profit as i lost 20k supers to massing a def, which is 30 per 1 turn, so yeah, im happy with it

samll problem that will no dowbt be happening is that a player who has posibly got multis for UU can just set there multi acount on def con and that will deter most raiders.
so now mutis have a nice little protection for there uu accounts
kinda anoying when ya see accounts that have no activity fo months sudenly go on critical where as before the most activiy the account had was when all its uu would vanish sudenly
