Financial Log

I'd really like to see a financial log. Something like:

DATE TIME AMOUNT SOURCE DESTINATION

This would include money gained and lost through attacks, money transferred to/from you. It would be nice to be able to keep better track of the finances... every once in a while I will see myself with more or less naq than I should have... It'd be nice to see a log.

There could even be two of them, one for the standard "in the open" war fund, and another for the bank. 24-48 hours would probably be a long enough log.

Did you ever play when we had those infinite attack/spy logs?

Great idea me thinks. :D

I was going to suggest a log to say who has transfered things to you, such as troops, naq or turns, incase you forget how much you have borrowed, or would like to pay somoene back for something.
It would be very convenient.

It's not a matter of luck; it's just a matter of time.

How much does a server cost?

It's not a matter of luck; it's just a matter of time.

i agree with Goo, its not worth it if its going to be slower for the server.
and y would u want a log anyway? can't u see the naq on the attack log?

it's quite expensive... Last one i saw cost in the region of £900, and that was awhile ago, for GLQuake.

i can see a smaller significance though in what you say Nuto, some small degree could be useful, i play another game and this is what i get everytime i log in...

Latest News:

[nn]Scotticus attacked you and won. They cried out !daed era uoY! They also stole 1 credits.
You sent «mšSA»Chemicool 3 cooked Trout.
You sent «mšSA»Chemicool 12 cooked Salmon.
Your land produced you 32000 credits today, and 11200 went to your tribe!
«mšSA»Chemicool has sent you 800 tin.
[€øD]Skinwalker attacked you and won. They cried out You have been wieghed, you have been measured and you have been found wanting! They also stole 1 credits.
You were attacked by **Filtered**. But you won! (68 hp left)
«mšSA»Chemicool has sent you 480000 credits.
«mšSA»Chemicool has sent you a message [Read].
You sent «mšSA»Chemicool 50 tin bars.

Last ten things that happened in my realm, i think last five things would be enough for stargate. Just a latest news link possibly -shrugs- i wouldn't know the specifics of how much space such a thing would take, but the game above is suffering some rather slow server time due to a new level of play being implemented.

More for who you transfer naq to and who is sending things to you.

Would make things easier to keep track of.

I've been browsing ebay, and looky what I found... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 39306&rd=1

It looks like a cube and everything!!!
Looks sturdy enough. teehee

It's not a matter of luck; it's just a matter of time.

hello mr. server :) yes... that would be a lovely looking server. My one is a black one, but it's extremely out of date now, it has funky cut out designs in the side too. Built for Quake :) now it's just full of music. Had another one some years ago too, for Doom, Duke Nukem and Total Annihilation, it was Linux, cost all of £250 to build.

As soon as you build an idiot proof system, somebody else builds a better idiot.

If it moves, kill it. If it doesn't move, kick it until it does move, and then kill it.

it was my favourite game on the PC, that and Warcraft II... but mostly TA, just for walking into your opponents camp after annihilating him with a back line of Big Bertha's.. The Commander's "Death Ray" such an enjoyable close to any base takedown :)
