alright heres what i know the start of the bounus to go from 0 to 1 is 7,510,000 naq and increases 5k per 1 point, so 2 points costs 7.51+7.515
can anyone quickly tell me the forumla so that i could calculate arbitrary values at my leisure?
(kinda wondering what 10kup planet costs)

um no i was thinking along the lines of like the total cost of getting from 0-100 or something, the total cost i can do its just 7.51mil + ((n-1)*5000)
but i cant for the life of me remebe the sum formula and want someone to tell me`

use sigma notation to calculate it. works a treat. or use excel, and get the trend line.

people should learn to use excel.
5min work gives
y = 2500x^2 + 7352500x
where y is total naq cost and x is number of uu per day.

That's about as basic as it gets.
Cost for a single upgrade = Initial Cost + (Cost Increase Per Upgrade x Amount of Upgrades)
.....................................= 7,510,000 + 5,000 x U
So the cost of the next upgrade after you hit the 10,000 UP mark would be
....................................= 7,510,000 + 5,000 x 10,000
....................................= 57,510,000
But the total cost to reach that point is the integral of the above equation.
Total Upgrade Cost = ∫ Single Upgrade Cost
............................= ∫ 7,510,000 + 5,000 x U dU
............................= (7,510,000 x U) + (2,500 x U^2)
............................= 2,500 x U x (3,004 + U)
............................= 2,500U(3,004+U)
So the total cost to hit 10,000 UP on a planet is:
............................= 2,500 x 10,000 x (3,004 + 10,000)
............................= 25,000,000 x 13,004
............................= 325,100,000,000
I may be wrong but that comes to about 325 Billion Naq.

After somewhere slightly after 15K UP that actually is a more viabe option in raising you UP. However, then you have to factor in the defense involved in keeping a planet that is so extraordinary. People like Metal_Messiah would have no problem keeping it though, and for him it would probably be a good option because he is ascending now. In fact, I may mention it to him...
