Officers On Vacation

For newcomers to ask questions to the other users... this section will usually answer most questions... requesting resources (naq/UUs/ATs) is not to be done here...

Officers On Vacation

At first I thought, that if an officer goes on vacation, two things happen:
1. I won't be receiving a percentage bonus of their UP anymore.
2. My income bonus will be divided between the officers who aren't on vacation mode.

Now I found out that the 1st happens, but the second doesn't. The remaining officers are still getting the same amount of bonus before one of them goes on vacation mode. Is this what's supposed to happen or did I found a bug?

Happened when my officer went on vacation. I just gave him the boot and told him to rejoin when he came back. I had guessed that such a thing would occur, and had warned him beforehand, so it wasn't any surprise. :-)

It's one of those bugs that are just annoying, and that take a backseat for other more 'important' ones to be fixed.

For the most part, it's just accepted. :)

Ah... ok, so it's not just my imagination. Thanks Munchy, Xeno :) Now I have to decide what to do with the vacationing officer :?

Is this a well-known bug or should I move/add the thread to "Bugs"?

It's almost a good bug because it get's CO's to kick those inactive Vac acct's. Though along this line when an acct retreats after a massing does the CO get the UP bonous while the realm isn't in the copereal existance?

Huh. Good question, hope someone who got massed can answer. I've decided not to dismiss my officers since my commander never dismiss officers on vacation either (though I'm not sure if my commander is aware of this bug). My other officers are fine with the bonus I'm giving them as it is, so everyone's happy.

That would be something really good to know.

*jumps up and down to see if someone who pays enough attention after having officers massed could tell us*

hmm wonder if we could put that question in the newb Q&A section some of the mods may know.

Well, all things considered, it probably doesn't matter much since most players who are massed to retreat into their realm usually recovers less than 24 hours...
