now I know that you currently cannot untrain supers or lifers... I am not suggesting that you untrain them, but rather disband them.
When you disband supers, they become the respective mercenary and when you disband lifers, they become untrained mercs...
In a real army... it'd be weird to not be able to touch a certain type of soldier...
using this method, you fire them from the military and bring them back on as a mercenary, who you can sell as soon as you get tired of them
Disbanding units

idk... gives more flexibility and realism to the game... rather than locking units in, you can make them into mercs and just get rid of them.. of course wasting precious uu and naq, but if you really want to just get rid of them... this would be the method...
this isn't meant to be some sort of revolutionary idea... just a small change to the game to make it more flexible...

this idea has come up alot in many forms itll never happen.
so you are opposed to the lifers bit.. that i get... but mercs are trained and thats all they can ever aspire to be... your logic only fuels my argument...

The point is that super soldiers have supposed to have undergone such intense training and manipulation that they can never return to anything else again, and so are destined to live out their lives as super soldiers.
